About Ericeira and The Village

Super well-located apartments in the heart of the charming historic center of the Ericeira Villa. Building and apartments renewed and furnished in 2020. These cosy and beautifully decorated apartments have high standards of hygiene and is special in every detail. Ericeira beaches and restaurants at your feet, so you can feel like a local in Ericeira! The nearest beach is located 2 minutes walking, as well as several others. Super well located, with 1 min walking bakery, 5 min walking pharmacy, supermarket and bus station. You can walk to all the center of the villa restaurants and stores. Our personal experience from traveling worldwide and hosting can provide you a great experience. Our Space

All super new, clean and carefully decorated. Apartments equipped with new sheets (for single or couples), towels and kitchen appliances. Cable TV available in the living room, blackout curtains available in all rooms, wifi and key code. Beds size are size 90 x 200.

Neighborhood

The center villa of Ericeira is a historic place, with beautiful streets and traditional Portuguese architecture, all in white and blue. You will have a great time walking around, and getting to know some charming spots of this historical place.

The building is located in the center of the historical villa, near beaches, bakeries, supermarket, pharmacies, bars, restaurants and shops. All you need is in a walking distance. There are some free parking lots nearby.

How to Move Around

You don’t need a car to enjoy Ericeira villa. You can do everything by foot. In case you want to visit other locations, such as Ribeira D,Ilhas beach you can rent a bike or take an uber (5 minutes by car), or if you want to visit Mafra´s Palace you can take an uber (15 min by car). From Lisbon Airport to Ericeira it’s aproximatley 30 minutes car drive.

Where to Park

Parking is free on the village and most public parking lots.

In the village, there are few parking spaces.

We recommend parking at Largo São Sebastião Parking Space (it’s free and 150 mts from our door, as per bellow link.

If you find a closer parking space in the village, please make sure it’s not in front of someone’s door (you can be towed).

This small fishing village just 45 minutes north of Lisbon has been a mecca for surfers for some time.

Beach located north of Pescadores beach (and port) and south of S. Sebastião beach. Beach guarded during the bathing season with beach support / bar / wc.

A beach with a very large and open sand, little protected with respect to the sea, it is recommended that extra care be taken in the days of greater swell.

Car access is not possible (only a service street to Porto), parking at Praia de S. Sebastião is recommended (which has a WC all year round, under the viewpoint next to the chapel)

To the north of Furnas near the center of the village is Praia do Norte, also known as “Praia do Algodio” or even Praia da Ericeira. This is a popular beach and usually used by a lot of people, as it is a well located and supervised beach by swimmers – lifeguards in the summer.

The wave is good for surfing and bodyboarding because it is not very fast or hollow.
